We are currently seeking experienced Student Counsellors for our local office in Nigeria. Anglo Health Care Recruitment, located in London, provides student recruitment services to international students interested in pursuing higher education abroad. We assist in the admission of students in more than 140 universities that offer programs in Nursing, Health, and Social Care, as well as various other subjects.

Job Role: Student Counsellor

Salary: 100000 - 200000 Nigerian Naira per month

Number of Post: 10

Job description

We are looking for an International Student Recruiter who will be coordinating recruitment and admissions services for international students. You will ensure high-quality evaluation of foreign academic credentials, and develop contacts with universities, agents, and foreign study abroad advisors.

What you will be doing

- Canvass for students to study in foreign universities represented by the firm

- Advise students on application and visa procedures 

- Maintain accurate ledger of student details and applications in CRM system

- Create personal marketing strategies to engage clients

- Create promotional videos with the help of the Marketing team.

- Offer career advisory services to prospective or confirmed students

- Provide relevant, current academic information to prospective students

- Collect and review documents submitted for admissions

- Assist with international credential evaluation in the admissions process

- Be the first reviewer of international student admissions applications

- Serve as a resource in the international student admissions process to advise on and inform prospective students of visa and compliance regulation.

- Comply with Nation Code of Practice at all time.

The Ideal Candidate

-Be knowledgeable about the uniqueness of the various foreign Universities represented by the firm

- Have excellent communication skills

- Possess strong networking skills and a can-do spirit for focused marketing

-  Have a track record of experience in International Student recruitment to Universities in the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia

- A candidate with UK Immigration Knowledge specially in skilled visa route would be highly desirable.

- A candidate with UK Health sector shortage skills Job market knowledge will be desirable

Experience requirements

- Minimum 2 years experience in student counselling, preferably for UK destination

- Experienced in British culture, life, and work would be highly desirable.

- Have British council agent certificate or willing to complete the course

Education requirements

-  An undergraduate degree from any country

- Must be competent user of Information Technology
